‘Light Will Prevail’: Benjamin Netanyahu’s Defiant Message on Delhi Terror

Date:

“The light of our nations will outshine the darkness of our enemies,” declared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a defiant message on the Delhi terror attack. He offered condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the eight victims.
Netanyahu praised the “unyielding spirit” of India and Israel, which he called “ancient civilisations that stand on eternal truths.” He stated that this spirit is why “terror may strike our cities, but it will never shake our souls.”
The Israeli leader, joined by his wife Sara, offered “deepest condolences” to the families of the victims. He assured India, “Israel stands strong with you in sorrow and in strength.”
This message of support comes as Indian authorities intensify their investigation. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has formally taken over the probe, which is focused on a “terrorist attack” executed by a Jaish-e-Mohammad module.
The NIA has registered a case and its dedicated team is coordinating with other security units to trace the perpetrators of the deadly car bombing near the Red Fort.
