India opted to bat first and set a formidable target of 211/6, thanks to an explosive start by opener Abhishek Sharma. Sharma’s rapid half-century propelled India to their highest Powerplay score against Pakistan in T20 internationals, reaching 81/2. Although Pakistan’s bowlers, led by Arafat Minhas, Ahmed Daniyal, and Abrar Ahmed, managed to slow India’s momentum during the middle overs by claiming crucial wickets, India found a second wind in the late stages.
