Amit Shah Launches Rally Celebrating PM Modi’s Economic Leadership Milestone

Date:

Marking a significant milestone in Indian politics, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has embarked on the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, a campaign celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service. This initiative comes as Modi, who began his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001, continues to be a prominent figure in Indian governance.

In a move to commemorate this journey, Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently flagged off a motorcycle rally from Vadnagar, Modi’s birthplace, to Varanasi. This rally is part of a broader campaign that highlights the Prime Minister’s political career and aims to engage the younger population with his legacy. A parallel rally was launched by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, traveling the reverse route from Varanasi to Vadnagar.

Each rally features approximately 300 bikers, who will traverse multiple states and villages, concluding their journey on October 7. The campaign is designed not only to pay homage to Modi’s contributions but also to extend the reach of his political narrative across the nation. Amit Shah emphasized the importance of this milestone, underscoring the BJP’s intention to make Modi’s public service journey known to a wider audience through these events.

The rallies serve as a symbol of Modi’s impact on Indian politics over the last quarter-century and are a strategic effort by the BJP and its National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners to fortify their connection with the public. As the bikers journey from Gujarat to Uttar Pradesh and vice versa, the campaign seeks to foster a deeper understanding of Modi’s work and philosophy across diverse communities.
