PM Modi Celebrates 25 Years in Public Service, Pledges a Developed India by 2047

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone in his political career on Wednesday by celebrating 25 years of continuous public service. Addressing the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ in New Delhi, he expressed gratitude to the citizens and party workers who have supported his journey, while outlining his vision for a developed India by 2047.

Modi’s political career began on October 7, 2001, when he assumed the role of Chief Minister of Gujarat. Reflecting on this journey, Modi acknowledged that he never anticipated reaching such heights and attributed his success to the trust and support of the people. He emphasized that both his supporters and critics have played vital roles in shaping his public life, teaching him resilience and introspection.

The Prime Minister reiterated his ambitious goal for India to become a developed nation by the year 2047. He stressed the importance of self-reliance and highlighted India’s aim to position itself as one of the world’s top three economies. Modi believes that these objectives can be achieved through the collective efforts of Indian citizens.

In his address, Modi expressed profound gratitude to the citizens, describing them as his greatest strength and likening them to a divine force. He also acknowledged the unwavering dedication of BJP workers and others who have been instrumental in his public service journey. Emphasizing the importance of serving humanity, Modi called for collective work to propel the country forward.

Modi also conveyed his ongoing commitment to learning. He recounted his school days in Vadnagar, noting that his desire to learn new things remains a central part of his life. “Even today, I consider myself a student,” he said, underscoring his belief in continuous personal and professional growth.

Highlighting India’s advancements in aviation, Modi referred to the bravery of Indian pilot Smit Machchhar during a recent incident involving a flydubai flight. He expressed confidence that the world would soon see aircraft manufactured in India. Concluding his speech, Modi urged for continued collective efforts to achieve the nation’s development goals and build a more self-reliant India by 2047.
