Pralhad Joshi has now taken on the additional role of India’s Education Minister, marking the start of his leadership by evaluating significant educational initiatives and the progression of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Upon stepping into his new responsibilities at Kartavya Bhavan in New Delhi, Joshi engaged with senior officials from the Departments of School Education and Higher Education to gain insights into the ministry’s current projects.

He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has entrusted him with this significant role, and he is committed to maintaining the momentum of key educational programs while gradually acclimating to the department’s operations.
Joshi’s appointment follows the acceptance of Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation by President Droupadi Murmu, leading to Joshi’s new assignment.
